Revive Pilates Co.âs Teacher Training Program blends the timeless principles of classical Pilates with the modern, athletic approach that defines our studio. Fall 2026
Our Fall Revive Pilates Co Teacher Training takes place with 45 hours in studio over 3 weekends in September and October.
Dates:
Weekend 1: September 26th and 27th
Weekend 2: October 10th and 11th
Weekend 3: October 17th and 18th
12 pm to 8pm each day of training.

Breaking it down
250 hours of training. 45 hours in studio over 3 weekends, all other hours are completed at your own pace over 1 year.

45 hours of hands on learning in our studio here in Rochester, MN.
You will be given two different manuals the week leading up to your first weekend. One will include over 200 moves and variations from the original repertoire Joe created as well as contemporary moves. The second will include, philosophy, anatomy, special pops, cueing etc. Both manuals will be used throughout the 3 weekends in studio.

50 observation hours - At minimum 25 hours are required to be done in studio observing our Revive Pilates Co Teachers during live classes.

45 practice teaching hours in studio - Bringing in friends and family to practice teach what you have learned along the way. Starting to master cues, get experience with springs for different body styles and start to feel more confident teaching in front of others.

60 dedicated hours to your self practice on the reformer. Can be done at our studio or another studio with approval.

Teach a portion of another teachers class, only in our studio. Get real class experience in a supportive environment without teaching a full class by yourself.

You have 1 year from the first day in studio to complete your 250 hours of training.

To complete the program and to receive a Revive Pilates Co Teacher Training certificate you must:
Complete all 250 hours
Write 3 class flows that are friendly for special populations
Teach a predetermined set of moves live, with 5 unseen moves.
This is not a national certification

While we do recommend having prior pilates experience, it isnât necessarily required. Having prior pilates experience will set you up for success as you already know how a lot of the moves in the repertoire feel.

While employment at Revive Pilates Co. is not guaranteed, our training is intentionally built to prepare you for real-world teaching. Graduates complete the program with the knowledge, experience, and confidence needed to step into any teaching role.

You are more than welcome to still apply and be a part of our teacher training. This program is designed to help you better understand pilates as a whole, and to better your self practice, even if you do not intend to go on and teach.
